He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.
~ Douglas Adams
I am an engineering student, Linux geek, amateur webmaster, web standards fanatic, amateur psychologist, active daydreamer, life's observer, and a plethora of other things. More than 150 anyway. I'm not sure if I should love or hate people, so I'm doing both, preferably at the same time.
Sometimes I'm a high-minded idealist and a dreamy romantic, sometimes a bitter cynic and a sarcastic nitpicker. But, above all, I'm a thinker and wonderer. Life is a beautiful thing, even though it sucks sometimes.
I've diagnosed myself as an INTP. Despite my occasional INFP and INTJ moments, the INTP diagnose seems disturbingly accurate.
To earn some money, I shamelessly abuse my parents, work as a part-time cleaner, and as a part-time receptionist at a chiropractic. Though, in addition to being a receptionist, the job at the chiropractic includes a wide variety of things, such as doing laundry, serving as a computer help desk, making heat treatments and helping with acupuncture. Don't worry about the combination of me and acupuncture needles; I haven't killed a patient yet.
Both of those jobs are, by definition, utterly unsuitable for an INTP. The fact I actually manage to enjoy the work and not screw up just proves the MBTI type only tells your preferences, not your actual skills. Never pigeonhole yourself.
I'm married to an ENTP who is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike my opposite. Because of historical reasons, people call him Pulu, but it's not his real name. Pulu is Finnish and means a pigeon. Currently Pulu is studying computer science. He also possesses some geekish traits but he's not as geeky as I am. Sure, he spends as much time in front of a computer as I do, but unlike me, he's mainly playing games.
I don't own a thermometer. I actually, really use the following piece of memesheepism for figuring out how cold or warm it is outside.

I'm obsessed with proper grammar and spelling. Nuthin PiSseZ Me MoRe than ppl who wRyTe lyke diz cuz there SO kEwL!!!11!1111!!!111 ZOMG!11111!!!1!!!
I speak a very complicated, sophisticated, odd and minor language as my native one. Finnish. I think it's a beautiful language, and apparently many others, such as Tolkien, have liked the language as well.
These two traits, obsession with proper grammar and being a native Finnish speaker, make a nice combination, unless I try to communicate in some other language, such as English. It's very frustrating. The only comforting thought in this situation is that although I horribly abuse the English language, I don't see the abuse myself and I can pretend it never happened.
Perhaps you're wondering what's the story behind my utterly boring LJ user name, na2. A friend of mine actually came up with the name. My real name is Nana. So, Nana = NaNa = sodium sodium = Na2 = na2. Elementary, dear reader.
The name Mrs. Å comes from a more complex inside joke involving cauliflowers. Don't ask.
The journal layout is made by me, but the heart picture is taken by an awesome photographer,
_benedicte. I'm using the photo with her permission, of course.
The journal itself is 70% friends only. Add me and comment if you're foolish enough to want to be added, and I might add you back if I manage to verify you're not my dad, boss, or potential boss. A word of warning, though - too many of my friends only entries consist of angsty whining these days, so be prepared for those if you're crazy enough to add me.
